A young, poor farmer goes to till his land one final time. Among the dust and disintegrated crops he collapses after a final prayer and sinks into the earth. From the stomach of the ground, a darkness is unearthed and the man is reborn to discover wealth, glory, domination, and ecstasy. Surrounded by his riches, the presence of an encroaching enemy threatens his coveted treasure and rocks his conquest…

Wellspring: A Hymn of Agony and Ecstasy is an immersive and participatory tale that explores the worship of an ancient substance. Kingmaker of phenomenal wealth and power, oil continues to fuel worldwide conflict as governments and factions race to control the critical substance. This movement-based, ritualistic narrative reveals the animal within us that drives our innate need to dominate our fellow man. Wellspring unearths the ecstasy that lies within humanity to bathe in the sea of a terrestrial god.
