THE MOUNTAIN

Domination, legacy, blind ambition, and shaky foundations mark the journey of four men who begin to climb THE MOUNTAIN. The Circle Theater of New York premieres an ensemble-devised work that delves into our innate desire to reach the top of the world. Principally told through movement, this allegorical tale reveals an essential human struggle: the ultimate need for control.  As four characters seek something higher, they battle alongside and against each other, setting in motion a fatal chain of events. Failure, blockages, hostages and peril permeate their journey, bringing the audience into a cathartic relationship with life and death.
